The Taste of the Tube

Synaesthesia is a rare condition in which the senses cross stimulate each other. In James Wannerton's case, whenever he hears a sound he gets a taste and feeling on his tongue. He has now done a map of London's Underground rail system, replacing the names of the stations with the names of the things that they conjure up on his taste buds. For example, Oxford Circus station near our office is called Oxtail Soup. Newshour's James Menendez asked him whether he'd really been to every tube station in London. And what does Newshour taste like?
